Lake House #2

I’ve been consulting on the garden’s of this 1 acre property for about 2 years on a project that is ongoing. What’s unique on this assignment is that the property owner is an avid gardener and the garden is approximately 30 years in the making. What inevitably happens in the garden’s of the Pacific Northwest is that they become disproportionate to the structures on the property. The explosive growth is hard to manage. My job is to identify the problems from a design standpoint and to hone and bring the esthetic impact up to a new level.

I’ve worked with the owner on many projects to date but one year of progress is not enough time in landscaping… mature specimens need to recover and new plantings need to mature and have a presence.
